The conference, hosted by The Foster Care Co-operative, will be a showcase of good practice, training and awareness on everything fostering in the digital age. NAFP's Chief Executive, Harvey Gallagher, will give a presentation about NAFP's briefing 'Fostering an ethos of online safety and digital parenting', written by the organiser of the conference, Lynn Findlay. Other speakers at the conference include Cath Knibbs, the UK’s leading cybertrauma consultant, therapist and researcher; Chris Keogh-ly from Guardian Saints who 'keep watch over the changing landscape of threats to children’s online safety, and work to ensure fostering service providers and foster carers are equipped to protect against them'; and Claudia Megele, a leading authority on digital safeguarding with extensive research and publication in online safeguarding and the effect of online engagement on children's safety, development and identity.
